Calling all online shoppers! I need you! – If you shop online, you could help to raise funds for my gap year in Guyana with minimal additional effort and at zero cost for you. All you need to do is sign up with EasyFundraising.org.uk and use their fundraising links every time you shop online.

EasyFundraising.org.uk work with over 2000 retailers to bring extra money to charities, including all the big names such as eBay, Amazon, PLAY.com, the major supermarkets, Argos, HMV, etc. Every time you spend money at one of these stores, a little cut of what you spend could be added to my fundraising total. Here’s how it works:
- Head to EasyFundraising.org.uk and create an account (it only takes a few minutes). That link should automatically select my cause, but if it doesn’t be sure to enter your cause as “Project Trust Guyana – Mark Ormesher”.
- Optional – Download and install the “Find and Remind” toolbar. This will automatically let you know when you’re visiting a website that could contribute to my fundraising. (I also get 50p just for your download.)
- Whenever you plan to shop online, log in to EasyFundraising.org.uk and click on “Retailers”. If the shop you’re looking for is on there, click through to their page and click on “Go Shopping”.
- Carry on shopping as usual! Is really is that simple – now, when you checkout, a small percentage of what you spend will soon be added to my fundraising total. Your shop is still completely secure, completely private and won’t cost you a penny extra.
If this doesn’t already sound good, how’s this: when you visit a retailers page (exmaple: Vodafone), you’ll be given a list of the retailer’s current promotions and special offers. For some retailers these can include discount codes exclusive to EF.
