The results of my selection course arrived today… I got through! I’m off to Guyana (with Uganda and Mauritius as reserves). Just got to raise about another £4,900 for my total… fingers crossed!
After countless hours of travelling and a very intense week on the Isle of Coll, I got back from PT selection in the (very) early hours of Sunday morning. Whether I get selected or not (I’ll find out in about two weeks), the week was an amazing experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Okay, technically selection starts on Tuesday, but I’ll spend all day tomorrow travelling there. I’m all packed and mentally bracing myself for a 06:10 start followed by 15 and a bit hours of travelling.
