TG#29 – Learn How to Make a Local Dish

Posted by on March 6, 2013

As most readers should know, Harry and I have been cooking for most of the Easter term (which is now 2 weeks from completion!), and as such we have been learning a lot about cooking local dishes (and about the quickest/easiest/laziest dishes possible!).

My own current list of Guyanese foods I can prepare includes: dry bakes, floats, mango and chana curry, chow mein, patties, pine tarts and cook-up.

Next term I hope to learn some more dishes, including “traditional” chana, roti and pepper-pot.
